NFL Characters Unite

In NFL Characters Unite, Randall Cobb meets Tyson, a 13-year-old boy who faces pressure from bullies to go down the wrong path in life. Like Cobb growing up, Tyson is often threatened by bullies in his school who urge him to pick fights with other kids. He lacks the courage to say no to the bullies and finds himself getting into trouble just to protect himself from their ridicule and taunting. He has joined his school's football team and dreams of making it to the NFL one day, but he has little confidence in himself and his abilities, whether it's on the field or off. Cobb knows that leadership skills are critical to gain the strength to stand up to bullies and he is determined to help Tyson find the confidence he needs to become a leader instead of a follower. Cobb arranges for Tyson to spearhead getting supplies for a local Habitat For Humanity home build, a project that helps Tyson boost his self-esteem. He learns that giving back is better than giving in to bullies; and that he should never say never to his dreams.

Randall Cobb
Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb grew up poor in a small town in Tennessee, where families struggled to make ends meet. There were few opportunities to earn a decent living and people too often resorted to crime to make money. Many kids in the neighborhood sold drugs and joined gangs, eventually ending up in prison. Cobb felt a lot of peer pressure to follow their lead, but, ultimately, he was able to make better choices with the guidance and support of his family, who always encouraged him to work hard and strive for the best. Growing up, he watched kids he had known for years fall victim to a life of crime because they didn't have the encouragement he had received. Cobb knows first-hand how tough it is to stay on the right path and he is dedicated to helping kids in need of positive role models in their lives today.
