President, F.A.S.T. Camp Sports
Coach Lewis began his career 20 years ago on the youth level at Digby Playground in New Orleans La., where he received recognition as Lakeshore Coach of The Year 3 times. Acknowledged in part, due to the large success of his players on the high school level, he was rewarded an opportunity to coach on the high school level. In 1999, he helped guide one of the best defenses to a "State Championship" game at Edna Karr High School. The dynamics of the game solidified his technique and earned him a promotion to Defensive Coordinator at Redeemer-Seton High School.
In 2005, Coach Lewis relocated to Houston, TX after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Following his heart and believing in God, Coach Lewis stepped out on faith and formed F.A.S.T. Camp Sports, a youth athletic training company in the greater Houston area providing speed and position specific camps to young athletes. In 2009, rewarded for his faithfulness, F.A.S.T. CAMP expanded into what is now a competitive sports and training company with 6 Fall season football teams, ranging in ages from 4-14, called The F.A.S.T. CAMP Eagles.
Coach Lewis also provides a F.A.S.T. CAMP High School Prep Team that plays during the Spring football season. In Spring, his focus is to prepare incoming Freshman for the "High School Level." Coach Lewis has tailored a program providing 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade players with the necessary skills to excel on a larger competing scale. To the program's credit, F.A.S.T. CAMP PREP holds the titles for Spring Texas State Championship in 2013 and the Texas Cotton Bowl Championship in 2014.
In 6 years of existence, "Da Camp" has won 5 Texas State Championships; and to its credit has aided in over 90 varsity players as starters on the high school level.
Coach Lewis has started a ”Big Brother – Lil Brother” program that will allow F.A.S.T. CAMP Alumni to reach back and help guide present F.A.S.T. CAMP babies in the right direction and provide someone they can look up to as well.
