Michaela Murphy is an interactive web specialist with the Seattle- based digital creative agency Great Scout.
A former New Yorker, Michaela moved to Seattle in 2007 for love. She has told her stories at Second Stage Theater, The Atlantic Theater, “Studio 360” with Kurt Andersen, The Whitney Museum, The Center for Architecture, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Lincoln Center, and NPR’s “All Things Considered.” Her acclaimed one-woman show “Something Blue” (directed by Frances McDormand) played at Second Stage Theater, The Aspen Comedy Festival and Williamstown Theater Festival. Michaela’s work as playwright and actor has been featured at Manhattan Theater Club, The Ensemble Studio Theater, LaMAMA Theater, The 52nd Street project and the Clinton White House. Her writing has appeared in The New Yorker and she is currently working on a memoir, “The Green Monster.”
