Cindy Chupack is best known as a writer/executive producer of HBO’s award-winning series, “Sex and the City.”
Her first screenplay (for Miramax, the adaptation of Nick Hornby’s novel, “How to Be Good”) made the Black List for Hottest Unproduced Screenplays of 2008. Sony recently commissioned her first original screenplay, “Mommy & Me,” for Meryl Streep and Tina Fey with Stanley Tucci directing. She’s currently working on a memoir for Viking, a follow- up to her “Between Boyfriends Book” called “The Longest Date: Life a Wife.” (She now lives in Los Angeles with her straight husband — whom she met through The Moth! — their 12-week-old daughter and their St. Bernard, Tink.) She is a graduate of Northwestern University.
