Leadership Conference on Civil Rights & Human Rights (LCCHR)

The Leadership Conference on Civil & Human Rights (LCCHR), the nation’s premier civil and human rights coalitions, advocates for public policy that protects the values of civil rights and human rights principles to ensure freedom and opportunity for all. Its coalition consists of more than 200 national organizations, representing persons of color, women, children, labor unions, people with disabilities, older Americans, major religious groups, gays and lesbians and civil liberties and human rights groups. LCCHR was founded in 1950 as the legislative arm of civil rights movement and has coordinated the national legislative campaign on behalf of every major civil rights law since 1957.
